STL CITY SC Milestone was reached with the placement of the final steel beam at the STL City SC stadium the project is one step closer to being complete and making it a world class soccer stadium. This will forever change the St Louis skyline and landscape of the Downton West area of the City.


In totality, more than 5,326 tons of steel have gone into the building by the construction crew headed by Hillsdale Fabricators. the heaviest steel beam weighed at 76,000 pounds. The pre-cast phase is also complete with all of the concrete work done with floors and decks. Over 900,000 craft hours have gone into this phase of completion. Currently the crew is putting up a canopy scaffold so they can continue to work on roofing and field lighting and so much more.

The next phase of work is the exterior enclosure and mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other finishing touches. Next year the seats will be installed.

With these milestones complete, the next major phase of the project includes exterior enclosure and interior mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finishes. The team is also looking forward to celebrating the installation of the first seats in the stadium later this year.
