St. Louis CITY SC have signed midfielder Eduard Löwen from the German Bundesliga Herta BSC, The 25 year- old has seven goals and eight assists in 77 matches in the league and has play. His contract is through 2026 with an option for 2027. He will occupy an international spot and is the second designated player for St Louis City SC after signing forward Joao Klauss from the Bundesliga league.

Lowen ha also played in the U-20 and U-21 German squads and was called in for the German Olympic team in 2021

STL now have six players under contract before debuting in MLS in 2023.
