SLU Women’s Soccer has made it to the NCAA tournament and have received their opponent for the opening round.

The Lady Billikens have won eight of their last night matches  and won the Atlantic 10 conference tourney with a 4-1 win over UMASS . The women’s program has grabbed four consecutive conference tournament crowns.

The NCAA selection committed placed the A-10 conference winner SLU to take on the SEC in the first round action at Ole Miss Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi on Friday, November 12 at 7 pm central time.

Ole Miss lost to SEC champion Tennessee 3-2 in the SEC Championship contest.

Both teams finished third in their regular season conference place.

Tickets are on sale and maybe purchased at the SLU athletic office with a general admission ticket at $10.00 for adults and children are (college age and younger) $8.00.

The winner of this match will face the winner of Rutgers and Bucknell. Rutgers is 17-3 on the season in the top seed in SLU’s bracket. Bucknell at 11-7-3 and won the Patriot League Tournament
