Let’s Meet the BattleHawks Head Coach

Th head coach of the St. Louis BattleHawks is Jonathan Hayes. He has a vast array of experience in football qith his most recent as the tight ends coach with the Cincinnati Bengals. He will also have the duties as General Manager to the team.

He worked under Marvin Lewis for the past 15 years in the NFL and was special teams coordinator at the University of Oklahoma under the tutelage of Bob Stoops. He was part of the staff in 2000 when they finished 13-0 and won the national championship

In his playing days, he was drafted in 1985 from the University of Iowa and became a star tight end as a player on the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers.He played in 184 games with 13 touchdowns and 1718 yards receiving in 153 career games.

He has a combined 37 years in playing and coaching in the collegiate and professional ranks.
